brenmains –
I made this guitar about a week ago after working on it for a week. Really well produced, very few if any production marks. Everything was included in the kit.
One thing I will say against it however is that there must be something up with the wiring chart. The wiring diagram was followed exactly, but whenever I turn the tone up, it’s just blasted with grounding noise. It’s even worse when you touch it.
I am unsure if this is unique to this guitar, however it’s just my experience.
Trent Prees –
Hi, I’ve noticed today that there’s a ground wire missing from the top of one vol pot to the top of the other vol pot. Try connecting those two (like the vol to the tone pot).
regards,
Trent
