Tru-Oil is sold as a gun stock finish, but it has found its way into the guitar kit building world thanks to its ease of application, fast drying time and the fact it doesn’t change the underlying colour of the wood or stain. It builds up layers and if you desire, you can achieve a high gloss finish. Unlike some other products, it’s not sticky to work with and is very forgiving. For beginners and veterans alike, Tru-Oil is a popular choice that you’ll find yourself coming back to every time.
Available in 3oz (90ml) and 8oz (240ml) sizes.
