Product Description
It’s hard to think of a guitar more synonymous with classic Rock n’ Roll than the Gretsch 6120. This beautiful hollow body instrument has been there since the beginning; popular with early 50’s Rock n’ Roll, Rockabilly and Country artists such as Eddy Cochran, Duanne Eddy, Chet Atkins. Gretsch’s fame continued to grow through the 60’s alongside George Harrison, John Lennon, Lou Reed (The Velvet Underground) and Neil Young. Pete Townsend (The Who) rocked a 6120 in the studio from the 70’s on, Brian Sezter (Stray Cats) brought back the Rockabilly popularity in the 80’s, and it has continued to grace the stage and studio with artists such as Bono (U2), Chris Cheney (The Living End) and Nigel Hendroff (Hillsong).
Our 6120 style kit features a lovely flame maple top and back and a Bigsby style tremolo for classic vibe!
